2024 BARBADOS HOCKEY FESTIVAL:

What to expect:
The tournament is 1 week long. The format is:
- Sat August 17 – fly down – flight usually depart early morning and arrive early afternoon
- Sun August 18 – beach day and opening ceremony in evening at the turf and opening party
- Monday August 19 to Wed August 21 – round Robin games for all divisions
- Thursday August 22 – rest day from games (catamaran cruise and beach day)
- Friday 23 – semi finals for all divisions
- Saturday 24 – finals for all divisions + after party at the turf
- Sunday Aug 25 or Monday Aug 26 (Cheaper flights) – fly home
Estimated per player budget:
- Expect to spend about $1345 – $1945CAD for: Flight, accommodations, shared car rental, tournament entry fee, tournament uniform
- Your food and drinks budget will vary. Eating and drinking locally may cost about $60CAD/day but fancy places are much more.
- Deposit for fees and uniform of $205 CAD due by June 1, 2024
OUR HOSTS:
While in Barbados we play and socialize with the ABC Club. Part of our tournament fees go towards a catered lunch during the week at the turf and the bar and tent set up. The bar is open all day between, after and during games. In the evenings, local clubs each host an event.
